   After several weeks of preparation, IMAGINE is now online to serve you. Interaction is what IMAGINE is all about, interactive imagination, to be more precise.

Read about us and the dive right in. Don't be shy.

   Carl Sandburg, In The People, Yes tells a yarn about all the people in the world gathered on a great plain to raise a big shout to the heavens, a "grand hosannah," and they waited and listened for the signal. The signal was given and they all listened, except for a little old lady who let out a wail of anguish because she was stone deaf and missed it all.

   Of course you are welcome to drop by and just read what's going on, but we would really appreciate your input. The more, the merrier!

That's what Imagine is all about

The heart of this endeavor is the Imagine Bulletin Board. You can post under any pseudonym that you wish. Nobody needs to know who you really are. It's only your thoughts on the subject at hand that count.
However, our board is semi-moderated, rude or inflamatory posts will be deleted by the webmaster. Posts that are totally inappropriate will also be deleted. You can say almost anything if you do it politely and with consideration of others. Political Correctness does not apply here, feel free to speak what you feel is the truth.

  Do you have a pet project that you can't get off the ground due to lack of funding or equipment? Linus Pauling once stated that the mark of a true scientist was the ability to improvise. Perhaps sharing your idea with people in other disciplines will inspire suggestions on how to get around those shortages.

We also have a private mailing list that is ad-supported. Feel free to join and post announcements, news, etc. to the list. Several web based, anonymous e-mail services are available so that you can avoid using your home address or real name.
If enough people wish, we will install a chat room also.
